Amongst the songs we have performed live with Fredrik Strand, one of the most memorable and innovative was “Sardana p’en Berto”, where Visual Drums introduced a futuristic touch to a proposal that was already daring from the beginning.
The goal was to create a musical and visual synergy that represented the swaying of the sea waves during the first part of the song (havanera), and when the song turned into a sardana the visual drumset would synchronize with it and the lighting would change to represent the bars of the senyera, symbol of the Catalan land.
