Visual Drums show starred in the closing act of the Fira de Primavera de Martorell 2023, on a day marked by the ban on the use of pyrotechnics four days before the celebration of the event and also by the heavy rain that ironically fell on the same day during the previous hours and the sound check. Coordination between organization and artist and last-minute technical adaptations allowed the synchronization between music and fireworks to be successfully achieved by means of laser technology.
In a journey through various musical environments, Neo M’s interactive visual drumset accompanied the songs of Coldplay, Minova, Oques Grasses, A-ha and David Guetta among others. The melodic part was present in one theme of Ed Sheeran, where the visual instrument gradually transformed into marimba, percussion and drums within the same song.
“La nit està que crema” (Búhos) ended the act on a moody day where water and fire mixed convulsively in a party with a happy ending. Being deeply grateful to the town council of Martorell for their treatment and cordiality, we hope that the gods of visual music will take us there again very soon.
